DATA

Where do you get your information?

The information contained in Ingens comes from various local, state, and federal offices. For more information about all the public data that is available, go to the Guided Tour and click on the topic ‘What data can I find?’.

top

How often do you update the records?

Each database is brought up to date when we receive an update from the provider. Some updates are made on a weekly basis, others are made monthly, quarterly, or annually. Once they have logged on to Ingens, users can view the date the latest information was loaded into the database. The date of the most recent addition of new records is next to each database.

What if I find a mistake?

Ingens’ public records are gathered from local, state, and federal offices in a digital format, which may have manually keyed mistakes. Because Public Knowledge Systems is not responsible for the accuracy of the information, we suggest you obtain an official copy from the office that provided the information. If you do find a mistake in the information, please send an email to support@ingens.com explaining the incorrect information. We cannot guarantee the information will be corrected but we will do our best to make sure that the correct information is given to the office that has provided the data.

BILLING

How much does Ingens cost?

We recognize that businesses have different information needs, which require different amounts of searching time. Ingens has multiple billing options that provide heavy and light users flexibility when paying for Ingens time. Pricing is based on connection time, and the more minutes a business uses, the lower the per minute cost. Click here to see the pricing plans.

top

Can you have multiple users under one account?

All plans allow for businesses to set up multiple users under one billing profile, but there are guidelines for the number of users that can be logged on to Ingens at the same time. All Package plans, which are prepaid minutes, can have multiple users logged onto Ingens at the same time. Unlimited usage plans, however, have user guidelines for concurrent users. More information about Ingens’ different pricing plans appears in About Ingens.
